At Thi Fusion we take authentic dishes from different walks of the globe and fuse them together to introduce a new breed and style of cooking. The presentation of these tantalizing dishes will only leave your mouth watering to the delight of your first taste. These creations were made possible by our Executive Head Chef “Chef La Lim” who has a wealth of knowledge, and a strong admiration for cooking.
Chef La Lim began showing his talent for cooking since he was 17 years old, playing with food and different cuisines fusing authentic Asian dishes together, showing the characteristics of a well groomed chef. La Lim not only created the menus for each of his restaurant locations but he loves, lives, and breathes food. He has a passion for learning how to perfect a dish that cannot be taught in any cooking school in the world. He’s been to culinary school, he’s traveled across America learning from the pros, and he’s even been to Japan to learn how to make the best sushi first hand from lifetime Japanese sushi chefs. He knows how to create heavenly dishes in a variety of different cuisines from French, Modern, Cajun, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese and has won countless awards in cooking competitions across North America. It wasn't long after learning how to perfect his cooking of culinary masterpieces that La Lim decided to venture off into bigger things.
He co founded a restaurant in 2005 with Thi Lim his brother, business partner, and business mentor. Thi Lim is a full time entrepreneur who has been in the restaurant business for over 10 years and was the most inspirational person in getting La Lim to become head chef of “
Pho Thi Noodle Soup.” With the expertise of a great head chef, and the business mind of a great entrepreneur their restaurant business took off. It launched a successful expansion of a cooking empire. A year later in 2006 Thi Lim opened the doors to his first upscale restaurant called “
Pho Thi Fusion” and he once again made chef La Lim the Executive Head Chef. La utilized his years of experience fusing great dishes together with a taste and quality unmatched into bigger things again. As the local residents began loving his dishes his success continued to grow. Last year in 2008 Thi Lim took another giant leap forward and opened his third location “
Thi Fusion” in the heart of Kanata Centrum as a more upscale modern lounge/martini bar with a soothing atmosphere that helps people unwind, relax, and enjoy a great dining/lounging experience.
With the phenomenal growth and success of Thi Lim’s first three ventures him and La are committed to increasing the quality of restaurant service in their city and have plans to open more locations in the near future.
